Who is the Camping Coalition?
The word “camping” means different things to different people. Some just want to get out and enjoy the beauty of nature. Others are looking for a spiritual connection to the simplicity of the wilderness. And others yet are looking for a temporary escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
No matter what type of camper you are, there’s one thing we can all agree on: camping is the best!
Whether you’re into tents, backpacking, travel trailers, RVs, fifth-wheels, or vanlife, there’s a spot for you in the Camping Coalition. We’re here to discuss tips and share stories to help other campers enjoy their time on the road—and maybe encourage a few newbies along the way!

Cameron & Rose (back to front)
“Most-time” campers from somewhere in North Carolina. Just because we’re from NC doesn’t mean we stay there! We’re on a mission to camp in all 50 states and love to take long trips anywhere the road will take us.
We’ve towed our travel trailer across the country and back again a few times now, learning new tricks along the way. We started the Camping Coalition to share our knowledge and learn new things from other camping-minded folks just like us.
Cameron is the lead writer for the Camping Coalition, so if you can’t stand some of the jokes and puns, he’s probably the one to blame.
Rose is a photographer extraordinaire whose incredible pictures fill these pages and inspire people to hit the road and see all the wonderful sites.
