Instant Pot deviled eggs

Hardboiled eggs are good, but it never hurts to add a little “devil” into your campside cooking creations! Deviled eggs are great snack that everyone can enjoy, and they’re super easy to make if you have an Instant Pot. Here’s how you can make them in just a few minutes.

Instant Pot deviled eggs recipe

  • Total time: 18 minutes

In just under 20 minutes, you and your fellow campers can have a delicious snack to eat on the go. Not only are deviled eggs tasty, but they’re also a great source of protein and energy to keep you going out on the trail (or to “power” your chill sessions sitting around the campfire). Just follow these simple steps:

  • Cook six eggs using the 5-5-5 rule. You’re welcome to cook more than six; you’ll just have to do a bit of math for the measurements. If you’re unfamiliar with the 5-5-5 rule, check out our blog about 5 easy Instant Pot recipes for campers.

  • Once the eggs are cooked and have had a few minutes in their refreshing ice bath, peel off the shells and cut each egg in half. Scoop the yolks into a separate bowl.

  • Add 1/8 cup of Mayonnaise, 1/8 cup of Rach dressing, 1/2 teaspoon of Mustard or Wasabi (if you’re feeling spicy), and a pinch of salt to the bowl with the yolks. Feel free to add any other seasonings you like—this is just how we like it!

  • Mix the yolks and ingredients all around until they get nice and creamy.

  • Scoop the now-creamy yolk mixture into the empty, halved egg whites.

  • Serve and munch!

These eggs are quick, easy, and delicious. Whenever we go camping, there’s a good chance deviled eggs will make it on the afternoon snack menu at least once during our trip.
